Hello, I'm Sasha!
THE PROJECT: "This past September marked the 20th anniversary of the September 11 attacks. To honor all who were lost, The Arc joined forces with local chapters of The Arc and other community organizations to develop inclusive volunteer projects centered around the September 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance (9/11 Day)."
THE ASSIGNMENT: To create a PDF toolkit that provides tips for recruitment and engagement, social media guidelines and expectations, and sample copy for press releases, to legislators, and general social media presence. The toolkit must be on-brand for The Arc, along with being visually accessible for the reader.
THE PROCESS: My goal was to have a clean and modern design, that was easy to follow and easy to read. To achieve this, I kept the font large, spaced out, with crisp color contrast. Visual elements were added to help the reader follow the message, while also adding meaning and context for the copy.

Hi, I'm Sasha, a designer who believes good design should feel effortless, even when solving complicated problems.
I love creating designs that are visually engaging, easy to navigate, and grounded in strategy. My experience spans nonprofits, education, and freelance work, where I've partnered with marketers, developers, writers, and stakeholders to turn ideas into cohesive visual experiences.
I'm naturally curious, always asking why before jumping into a solution.
When I'm not designing, you'll usually find me on the tennis court, reading classical literature, or getting immersed in story-driven video games. I live in Northern Virginia with my cat, Paul.
